I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology at McGill University, supported by a postdoctoral fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation. I obtained my doctorate at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland with the support of an excellence grant from the Swiss Confederation. My research focuses on the effects of early life adversity, including child maltreatment and exposure to intimate partner violence, with a particular interest in determining the psychobiological impacts and identifying the mechanisms involved in the intergenerational continuity of trauma.
