Mack the Knife, the most wanted man in London. Entertainment for the evening shall include a variety of bawdy songs, shameful caterwauling, trilling sopranos, moving ballads, earnest pleas, rousing escapes, unexpected twists, saucy brothels, dirty jokes and at least one public hanging.
Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill’s comic masterpiece The Threepenny Opera is both a modern classic and a high-spirited mockery of the conventions of musical theatre.
