We are here for you – from the start of your MDCM studies at McGill through to residency and fellowships.
We will accompany you with support and resources along the way. Our services encompass wellness support
and academic counselling specific to time and stress management, as well as leaves.
During undergraduate studies, we offer career advising, as well, to help you navigate.

We are committed to providing an environment where everyone feels welcomed, included and respected.
Ours is a safe and confidential space for all students, residents and fellows in McGill’s School of Medicine.

Career Planning for Undergraduates

The Office of Medical Learner Affairs offers a specialized program of career planning activities to support all undergraduate cohorts throughout their training in medicine. Our main goal is to help each of you become the best doctor possible. To support you, we use a recognized, structured and organized approach to assess specialties and make career decisions.

Reporting Mistreatment

The Office for Respectful Environments is committed to a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment that promotes learner vitality and recognizes excellence in teaching. Mistreatment of learners, colleagues or patients, whether intentional or unintentional, is not acceptable.
