We're pleased that you're considering our program!

Undergraduate Admissions

Undergraduate applications to the Faculty of Science are handled centrally (through Enrolment Services) and the academic departments are not involved in this process.  Detailed information on the degrees and programs that you can apply to and the application process can be found on the Undergraduate Admissions website.

The main point of contact for applicants is the Service Point office, where they will be able to answer your questions about the online application process, minimum grades, documents required, decision timelines, etc.

Application Process

Depending on your academic background, you may not be asked to select a specific program of study (i.e. a Major) when you apply.  Only students entering the BSc degree from CEGEP or from high school programs that will give at least a year (minimum of 24 credits) of advanced standing will select a program when applying.  However, ALL applicants to the BSc degree are asked to select one of four program groups within the Faculty of Science.

A program group comprises of several departments with significant overlap in the core course requirements.  This means that students can usually change programs within their group after U1 without being too far behind in their studies.  The Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology is included in the Biological, Biomedical, and Life Sciences group.  It is important that you indicate this group when applying if you want to study in our Department. If you're admitted to the BSc degree, you will only be allowed to choose your Major from the departments within your group.
