Community of Practice for Instructional Designers of Online Learning Programs at McGill

The Community of Practice (CoP) for instructional designers at McGill who design online learning programs serves as a collaborative space where instructional design professionals share expertise, insights, and best practices.

The primary goal of the CoP is to foster a supportive environment and encourage continuous learning and knowledge exchange in the field of online instructional design for higher education. By bringing together the diverse experiences of instructional designers at McGill, the CoP aims to enhance the quality of online programs at McGill, while promoting effective processes, and evidence-based strategies.

The CoP meets bi-monthly to discuss specific instructional design topics, raise questions, share resources, and feedback on design projects. If you are a McGill instructional designer who takes part in the design of online learning programs and wants to join this CoP, contact: online_design.provost [at] mcgill.ca
