Atelier Un cerveau sain pour une vie saine

Dans le cadre de l’initiative Un cerveau sain pour une vie saine, un atelier d’une journée aura lieu le 17 août 2017 à l’Institut et hôpital neurologiques de Montréal (Centre de communications de Grandpré).

L’atelier portera sur la neuroinformatique, l’un des quatre grands thèmes de l’initiative, et sera donné par des conférenciers de l’Université McGill, de l’Université de Montréal, de l’Université Concordia et de l’Institut Lady Davis. L’activité vise à dresser un portrait des forces et des besoins actuels en matière de recherche en neuroinformatique, ainsi qu’à lancer des projets collaboratifs.

L’atelier est ouvert à tous les chercheurs, boursiers postdoctoraux et étudiants.

Dr. Alain Ptito, director of the Department of Psychology of the MUHC, hosts the evening’s film presentation. This film is about forensic pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu (Smith), who discovers neurological deterioration similar to Alzheimer’s disease while conducting an autopsy on a former NFL football player.
