In this first year of the CARIWIN project, many successful activities were held. These include the project launch ceremony and international symposium; a field mission and project sensitization in the three partner countries; a training session on gender equality and development of a strategy for CARIWIN; an IWRM workshop for senior administrators from the three partner countries; an IWRM training session for CIMH staff held in Canada; an Advanced IWRM Course held in Barbados; a Hydrometeorology and Water Quality Field Course held in Guyana; and a presentation of CARIWIN at a regional water resources conference.
