Inaugural Conference

On October 5, 2023, the Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law held its inaugural conference, presented by Professor Michelle Cumyn (McGill).

The conference focused on the theme "Legal categories, little-known sources of law" (delivered in French), in the Scott Room (Old Chancellor Day 16 room) of the Faculty of Law of McGill University. It was marked by rich discussions between the speaker and the participants, which continued during a very pleasant reception.

The Civil Law Workshop “The Person and the Window: Colonialism, Structuralism, and the Possibilities of Transsystemic Law” took place on October 13, 2023, and was presented by Professor Bradley Bryan (University of Victoria).

As usual, the Workshop was marked by rich discussions between the panelist and the participants.
