GoodHeart Study: Minority stress and blood pressure regulation in transgender, gender-diverse and non-binary adults
The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of minority stress experiences on blood pressure regulation in transgender, gender-diverse, and non-binary adults.
Highlights:
- Co-developed with community partners
- Recruiting self-identifying trans, gender-diverse, and non-binary adults, regardless of hormone use
- Participation involves 2 separate study visits (~5 hrs total) and questionnaires
- Familiarization (~2 hr)
- Test Day (~3 hrs) ($80 CAD compensation, if completed)
- Optional: 24hr blood pressure monitor ($50 CAD compensation, if completed
