The Government Relations team ensures McGill’s visibility and influence with the governments of Montreal, of Quebec, and of Canada, in support of the University’s academic mission and priority initiatives. We achieve this through the building of relationships and partnerships with government, and through advocacy on particular issues.
McGill units are welcome to reach out to our team if you need advice to plan meetings or visits with senior government officials. We would also appreciate being informed of any government visits or interactions.
