Institutional Communications

We support McGill’s academic mission and strategic priorities through effective and impactful external and internal communication outreach initiatives.

We are McGill’s point of contact with the media. Representatives from the media can gain valuable access to McGill experts or find newsworthy stories about McGill’s research discoveries and events in our newsroom.

Moreover, we manage and promote, news, events and announcements, including the McGill Reporter online newspaper and What’s New e-newsletters, Alnotes mass email, The President’s Prize for public outreach, as well as via our @mcgillu main university social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn). We provide direction and guidance in social media as well as media training to faculties, administrative units and graduate students.
