Natural Resource Sciences grad students reduce lab plastic waste by nearly 50%

Single-use plastics are everywhere—but two McGill University researchers are redefining the norm and championing sustainability.

In an article for Nature, graduate students Anthony Gagliano and Marie Launay in McGill's Department of Natural Resource Sciences detail their journey to reduce single-use plastic waste in their genetics lab, from quantifying the issue to taking action.
