Sixth RITA Precompetitive Research Network

For food processing companies in the honey, maple syrup and beverage sectors

Anticipated period: 2025-2027

Following exploratory meetings with industry, academic and government experts, the Consortium RITA has identified great research potential in the honey, maple syrup and beverage processing sectors. We are therefore launching a process to co-create collaborative projects aligned with the industry's needs, in order to address common challenges. The research projects thus developed will form our sixth pre-competitive research network. Our goal: to strengthen the position of the honey, maple syrup and beverage sectors by transforming challenges into opportunities.

The first step to better understand your challenges, issues and priorities in order to identify opportunities of common interest that the scientific community can address and develop solutions for. The success of the network depends on your participation!

In under 10 minutes, make your voice heard so that together, we can build a more prosperous future through Quebec innovation.

Note: Be sure to select “YES” to question #24 to receive your invitation to the co-creation workshop and strengthen your impact on research priorities.

In collaboration with several partners, we are hosting information sessions which will detail the benefits and specifics of pre-competitive research, with concrete examples, for each sector. Overall, companies can expect significantly reduced costs compared with traditional research projects, marked support, access to a network of collaborators, better informed decision-making, and much more.

Note: information sessions are held in French. For questions, please contact us at consortiumrita [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Sixth%20RITA%20network) and we'll be happy to help.
