Description of Planned Activities
CSSS Granit: 30-hour course
CSSS Memphrémagog, CSSS Haut-Saint-François: Analyze needs; assess knowledge; organize groups; provide English-language training; provide follow up for each group; produce an evaluation report after 20 hours of training
CSSS Val Saint-François: Provide training to increase comfort and proficiency levels (3/5 to 4/5)
CSSS – Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Sherbrooke: Evaluate language proficiency level; validate needs according to activity sector and job title; prepare evaluation of the transfer of learning to assess project benefits; adjust the instructional approach to the participants’ needs; adjust the training schedule to include personal time and work time; provide about three hours of training sessions per week; set up specific activities to retain and upgrade acquired skill
Regroupement CNDE-Dixville Inc: Evaluate skills; validate needs; adapt schedules; English course (conversation)
Centre jeunesse de l’Estrie: Validate needs according to activity sector; evaluate our personnel; adapt the instructional approach to the participants’ needs according to their field of activity; customize a course to meet employee task requirements
Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke: Component 1: Fill skill shortcomings to meet requirements in areas where needs for English-language intake are not met: telephone intake, appointments, admission and other areas (delivery of regular 30 hour training sessions and possibility of 2 day intensive sessions to round out training). Component 2: continuing training for all CHUS personnel working with English-speaking clients. Component 3: customized training to meet intake staff’s specific needs.
Villa Marie-Claire inc.: Specialized training centred on intervention
Centre Jean-Patrice Chiasson/Maison St-Georges: 30 hours of semi-private training
Centre de réadaptation Estrie: 30 hours of training in groups of 3-6 people
