Most Influential Paper Award for Prof. Dániel Varró

Prof. Dániel Varró received a Most Influential Paper Award at the recent IEEE Symposium on Visual Languages and Human-Centric Computing (VL/HCC 2016) for the paper G. Varró, A. Schürr, D. Varró: Benchmarking for graph transformation published at VL/HCC 2005.

Historically, the paper was the first to propose a benchmark for assessing the scalability of different graph transformation tools. It served as the starting point for the Transformation Tool Contest (TTC), which aims to compare the performance of model transformation tools, which was organized for the 9th time at the STAF 2016 conference this year.
