Programs Information and Curricula

Electrical Engineering

The program in Electrical Engineering gives students a broad understanding of the key principles that are responsible for the extraordinary advances in the technology of computers, micro-electronics, automation and robotics, telecommunications and power systems. These areas are critical to the development of our industries and, more generally, to our economy. A graduate of this program is exposed to all basic elements of electrical engineering and can function in any of our client industries.

Computer Engineering

The program in Computer Engineering provides students with greater depth and breadth of knowledge in the hardware and software aspects of computers. Students are exposed to both theoretical and practical issues of both hardware and software in well-equipped laboratories. Although the program is designed to meet the growing demands of industry for engineers with a strong background in modern computer technology, it also provides the underlying depth for graduate studies in all fields of Computer Engineering.

Software Engineering Co-op

The Software Engineering Co-op program offers students the opportunity to focus their studies on the skills needed to design and develop complex software systems while participating in 4 mandatory co-op terms. Software engineers holistically apply the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to cover the entire lifecycle of engineering modern software applications in flight navigation, web and mobile applications, machine learning, and more. Graduates of will have a solid foundation for careers in the software industry and 16 months of professional work experience.

Software Engineering

The Software Engineering program offers students the opportunity to focus their studies on the skills needed to design and develop complex software systems. This emerging field of engineering is a major component of the growing Information Technology (IT) sector of the economy, in which the demand for qualified personnel continues to outstrip supply. Students graduating from this program are eligible for registration as professional engineers. Graduates of this program will have a solid foundation for careers in the software industry
