Self employment handbook for people with arthritis [.pdf]
Canadian researchers have recently completed work on the subject of self-employment for people with arthritis and related disorders. This work has been supported by the Canadian Arthritis Network and the Canadian Arthritis Patients Alliance, CAPA. One of the results is the publication of a handbook for people with disabilites, who may be considering self-employment. This presents some of the benefits and challenges of self-employment, from a practical perspective. It includes a discussion of issues related to chronic disability. This handbook, entitled Self Employment for People with Disabilities, is available from the CAPA website at http://www.arthritispatient.ca/index.php/resources/category/education/
