Black History Month 2020: Rooted

Black History Month 2020 is the fourth annual celebration of Black History Month at McGill University bringing together students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members. This year's celebration is co-organized by the Office of the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic), the Black Students’ Network (BSN), and the McGill African Students' Society (MASS). We appreciate the continued support of our partners on and off campus and look forward to honouring Black history together!

The Opening Ceremony of Black History Month 2020 will be held on February 3rd, 2020 from 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM at the Faculty of Law. Tickets can be reserved here!

McGill University is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose presence marks this territory on which peoples of the world now gather.
