Home Office Expenses - Taxation Year 2024

  • Please be advised that the T2200 and TP-64.3-V forms for McGill employees to claim home office expenses on the 2024 tax return, along with other relevant tax forms (T4, T4A, Relevé 1), are now available in Workday. To access tax documents:
  1. Login to Workday (if off campus, log into Two-Factor Authentication (2FA))
  2. Click Menu (top-left corner) > Pay, Benefits & Compensation hub > Pay tab > Tax tab
  3. Scroll to All Tax Documents for the 2024 tax documents
  4. Click View/Print to open in PDF, then click Print or Download.

Please note that only employees with Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) entered in Workday before the end of 2024 working more than 50% from home were issued the T2200 and TP-64.3-V forms for claiming home office expenses.

Detailed information on the federal and provincial eligibility criteria is available on the Canada Revenue Agency website and the Revenue Quebec website, respectively. If you believe you are eligible, but did not receive a form in Workday, please contact your Supervisor.
