They are conducting a research study to determine how the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has impacted health care workers across the globe. It has been translated in a few languages.

Join our growing community of CVD leaders
Now in its seventh year, the WHF Emerging Leaders Programme provides training and networking opportunities in cardiovascular health policy and implementation research for healthcare practitioners, researchers, and global health advocates, while focusing on a different priority area every year.
This year, 25 successful candidates will be joining our 150-strong global community of leaders in cardiovascular health to explore the topic of cardiovascular disease prevention among people living with diabetes.
Participants will participate in online training, a five-day think tank seminar on 20-25 September 2020 in Lisbon, Portugal, and collaborative group work based on proposals developed during the seminar, with seed funding support for deserving applications.
We aim to reach as many potential candidates as possible on a global basis. Candidates from academia, civil service, private industry and cardiovascular medicine are all encouraged to apply.

Dec.13th 2019. Women's HEALTH is Prominent in the Minister of Health Mandate Letter from the Prime Minister. (1) Work with the CIHR to integrate sex- and gender-based analyses, to ensure research takes diversity factors into account to improve women’s health care. (2) Provide funding to the CIHR so that it can create academic research grants for studies on gender. (3) Create a National Institute for Women’s Health Research, that will bring together experts in women’s health to tackle gaps in research and care. [ Learn More ]
