Québec - Allemagne (DAAD) 

There are 6 scholarships available to Quebec students via the Quebec Ministry of Education and Higher Education apart from the open competition to the DAAD (see further down the page)

Eligibility 

Applicants apply to ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur (MEES) and must meet Quebec residency requirements.

DAAD Graduate Scholarships for Study/Research in Germany

Value & Duration 

  • Monthly stipend of EUR 850.
  • Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover.
  • Travel subsidy, unless these expenses are covered another source of funding.
  • One-off study allowance.

For a study period in Germany as part of a postgraduate or Master's degree completed in a foreign country:

  • Usually one academic year (October 1-July 31) ; an extension is not possible.

DAAD offers scholarships to outstanding graduate students, PhD candidates, PhD holders, and Postdoctoral scholars for whom study and/or research at a German institution will have a significant impact. Visit the DAAD website for more information.

Applicants apply directly to DAAD.

Use the Manual for personal funding on the DAAD website for instructions on completing your application in the DAAD Portal. The Online Application Portal allows applicants to check the status of their application. Once an application has been accepted, a notification and a summary of the application in PDF format will be sent to the Portal.
