Grad School 101 Information Sessions | October 2023

These two information sessions specifically developed for undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Bachelor of Education programs at the McGill Faculty of Education who are interested in pursuing graduate studies.


These sessions offer a comprehensive look at what questions to take into account before applying, and are designed to provide information and strategies about the application process in order to maximize your chances of success!


It's a great opportunity to gain some insights on the following topics & questions: Why should I go to grad school? What is it like to be a graduate student? (workload, tips for success, advice) How do applications work? How do I ask someone for a letter of reference? What should I write in my letter of intent? What is should I include in my academic CV? Should I apply for Thesis or non-Thesis? What is the difference?

It also provide details on which French tests local English school boards recommend for teaching careers in their schools - EMSB, LBPSB, RSB, SWLSB, NFSB, CSSDM, CSSPI, CSSMB.
