From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Dr. Priti Wanjara awarded the distinguished ASM Fellowship 2014

Dr. Priti Wanjara, Team Leader of the Coatings and Metallic Products group, has been the distinguished ASM Fellowship 2014. This highest of honours recognizes scientific and Engineering contributions in the development and application of materials in the aerospace, automotive, marine and power generation industries. Dr. Wanjara accepted this award during ASM’s annual awards dinner on October 14, 2014, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during the Materials Science & Technology 2014 conference.

Marta Cerruti (McGill University, Materials Engineering) received the 2014 ISSNAF Award for Young Investigators for the research entitled "Bio-synthetic interface design for tissue engineering and drug delivery".

Marta Cerruti had the honor of receiving the "Medaglia di Rappresentanza del Presidente della Repubblica Italiana".
