From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

BMO Doctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowships at CIRM

The Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Montreal (CIRM) is seeking applications to award a PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowship for the 2018-2019 academic year.

 

Value and duration of the fellowships

-      BMO Postdoctoral Fellowship in Montreal Studies: $ 45,000 (including benefits)

-      BMO Doctoral Fellowship in Montreal Studies: $ 20,000

The duration of each fellowship is from 8 months to 1 year.

 

Conditions

Projects must cover all or part (comparative research is accepted) of Montreal and cross at least one of the six research-action axes of the Centre. Recipients must be supervised by a regular or associate member of CIRM, or by a research partner of the Centre.

The files must be written in French or in English and sent electronically, in a single pdf document, before June 17, 2018, to the director (pascal.brissette [at] mcgill.ca) and the coordinator of CIRM (stephan.gervais [at] mcgill.ca).

Postdoctoral researchers must have obtained their doctorate in 2015 or later.

Accumulation of scholarships with those of major granting or other agencies is permitted.
