Workplace Wellness

Looking after your own health and wellness

The health and wellness of our academic staff is of vital importance to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. We want you to flourish in your role, and provide you with a supportive environment, as well as the conditions, resources and networks you need to do your best work.

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is committed to promoting a healthy, equitable and respectful work and learning environment and protecting you from harassment, sexual harassment or discrimination. Visit My Healthy Workplace, the Office for Sexual Violence, Response, Support and Education and Employment Equity for more information. If you feel your working environment is unsafe, or your own health is at risk, don’t hesitate to reach out to your academic department Chair for help.

Tell us about your experience of workplace wellness

The Academic Affairs Office is assessing various aspects of workplace wellness in order to create a portrait of current wellness-related factors, and identify ways to improve workplace wellness. We want to hear from you. Please complete the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Wellness Survey when you submit your Academic Performance Evaluation.
