Wednesday, March 25, 2009

If you want to know anything about how McGill is governed, ask the Secretary-General, Johanne Pelletier and she will happily tell you. Today's plenary Plenary Pelltier [.ppt] brought out 35 managers. The plenary focussed on the different levels of governance and the importance of managers being involved in the process. In fact, there are six seats dedicated to administrative and support staff on Senate and one seat on the Board of Governors. The University Secretariat is also responsible for convocations and is always looking for volunteers to faciltiate the convocation experience.
