Directions to Bloc E and Map
Taxi: Ask to be dropped off at the Research Institute entrance (Grey/white exterior at the back of the building)
Via Block E Entrance (Research Institute)
Please note the Glen site has several blocks. The Research Institute is Block E. If you are taking a taxi, the easiest way to reach it is to have them take you to the Research Institute entrance at the back of the building (the block characterized by a grey/white exterior) rather than the main entrance of the hospital. The RI entrance can be reached by the road that leads around the hospital grounds. This will lead to the main doors of the RI and into a large atrium. At the opposite end of the outside entrance, is a security desk. We will meet you here.
Via main Hospital Entrance (Royal Victoria Hospital) – Level RC
If you are coming in from the main entrance of the hospital (assuming you are taking a taxi), please use the entrance to the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH). (There are always volunteers around this entrance so please feel free to ask for directions if you get lost). From the main RVH entrance, take the elevators on your left DOWN 1 floor to S1. As you come out of the elevators, turn left (you will pass a juice place here as well as an Asian take-out restaurant). Keep walking straight ahead (you will pass the cafeteria on your right and a subway restaurant on your left). At the end of this hallway, turn left (you have no choice, it’s a dead end). You will be facing the MUHC Foundation office. Turn Right (you will pass display cases on your left). About halfway down this corridor, there are 2 large glass doors on your left that open up to the RI-MUHC Atrium. Enter here and you will come upon the RI Block E Security Desk. (If you reach the staff parking lot – Block F, you’ve gone too far.) We will meet you here.
Metro: Vendome metro (orange line) – you will access the Glen Site via the underground parking lot.
Car: Parking vouchers can be provided only for cars parked in the main underground parking lot.
Via main Hospital Entrance (Royal Victoria Hospital) – Level S1
If you are coming in from the parking lot of main entrance of the hospital, you will already be on level S1. Please use the entrance to the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH). Upon entering the hospital, turn right.
Keep walking straight ahead (you will pass the cafeteria on your right and a subway restaurant on your left). At the end of this hallway, turn left (you have no choice, it’s a dead end). Via Express Parking Lot outside Block E (Research Institute) – Level S1 – unfortunately, we cannot provide parking vouchers for cars parked in this lot.
