Presentation Tutoring (In-Person) S24

Are you preparing for a conference presentation? Do you experience occasional jitters or have anxiety about public speaking? Want to benefit from an individualized consult to practice and gain strategies to deliver smooth and effective presentations?

For the first time at McGill, the Writing Centre’s Tutorial Service is piloting a 6-week presentation tutoring service where students can book a 45-minute session with a trained presentation tutor.

Come at any stage of development and get feedback/strategies on presentation topics, e.g., content development, visuals, delivery, or managing public speaking nerves or anxiety.

Schedule
Each week, from May 8 - June 18, we will offer three 45-minute sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Accessibility
We are committed to providing a barrier-free experience. If you have any accessibility needs, please let us know by emailing the mwctutorial [at] mcgill.ca (MWC Tutorial Service Coordinator).
In order to ensure that all students have reasonable access to the tutorial service, you may book a maximum of 7 hours of appointments per semester. In addition, you are restricted to one hour of tutoring per day.
