In the late 1990s, I linked the two and registered a domain name: e-mortal.com (and emortal.com), the only names I ever registered. I vividly remember what gave me the idea and the business I intended to create.  I stumbled on a philosopher’s writings, Alexander Nehamas, who noted that: 'The only immortality one can hope for lies in the memory of others.'…"
