Obstetrics and Gynecology Events

Henry Ford (1863-1947), the founder of the Ford Motor Company, and the sponsor of the development of the assembly line technique of mass production once said “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.” He correctly emphasized continuous learning. As an academic department, we constantly upgrade ourselves and teach contemporary Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is reflected in the weekly grand-rounds and other small group meetings in all McGill University’s teaching hospitals. We invite local experts and national as well international visiting professors. The highlights of our academic activities are the annual Research Day where our trainees, residents and graduate students present their research work and the McGill Symposium in Women’s Health where experts present the current status of different aspects of our specialty.
