McGill University offers a joint MDCM/Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program through the Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences and Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences. The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada. Additionally, the MDCM degree is fully accredited by the Liaison Committee for Medical Education and the Council on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools.
Upon successful completion of this 6 year program, students will receive an MDCM degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and a Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences.
