Risk Advisory and Insurance Services manages a set of property and liability insurance policies offered by commercial insurance providers. We handle renewals, losses and claims, and prevention. Some of our largest insurance policies include automobile insurance, main property insurance, and miscellaneous insurance.

Automobile insurance
We manage the insurance requirements of over 200 McGill-owned vehicles (approximately 500 drivers).
Main property insurance
Our main property insurance policy provides coverage for McGill buildings and their content should they become damaged by an insurable occurrence such as water or fire damage.
Miscellaneous property insurance
The McGill community has unique needs which require specialized and tailored insurance that applies when McGill-owned equipment is off premises, leased, and/or rented. We also manage the insurance of borrowed or loaned equipment.
