We found many useful and interesting activities in the literature that can make science teaching and learning meaningful.  These activities were developed and implemented by science teachers and practitioners to engage their students in hands-on and minds-on science.  You can access these ideas and activities on the websites of the journals or magazines in which they were published. Science and technology teachers in Quebec can also use them in conjunction with the Progression of Learning (POL) goals in the Quebec Education Program – Secondary Cycle 1 curriculum (grades 7 and 8).  Hope you find them useful!
