IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Ongoing New Residence Hall Facade Renovation Project (since April 2023). Consult the Facilities Management website for details. Scaffolding has been erected around most of the building. This renovation project will produce some occasional noise during the day. We understand that this may cause some disruptions and we are working closely with McGill Facilities Management to ensure inconveniences are kept to a minimum.

 New Residence Hall is connected to an underground mall, where students can access two grocery stores, a pharmacy, a movie theatre and several restaurants (without having to brave the Montreal winter). The residence is a short walk away from campus and is situated in the heart of the Milton-Parc Community.

Students will also enjoy close proximity to McGill's athletics facilities and Montreal's lively downtown area.

Rent

Lease is for a period of 8.67 months from August 15, 2024 to May 4, 2025.

Facilities

• The building houses 757 students in single and double occupancy rooms.
• Modern Dormitory-style housing with private bathrooms, tv lounges, study rooms and a large lobby with a piano.
• Rooms are furnished with a bed, desk, dresser, lamps, drapery, tv and a small fridge. Please note: beds in double rooms and single rooms are standard double beds. 
• On-site laundry facilities included in the rent. The use of washers and dryers in the residence buildings are available 24/7 at no additional charge.
• 24-hour front desk with card reader access turnstiles.
• Fitness Center - Le Parc Gym (includes membership to B2 McGill gym on Pine ave.)

Mandatory Meal Plan

• Students living at NRH are on the All You Care To Eat Mandatory Meal Plan and have access to all the dining halls and on-campus restaurants.
• New Residence Hall has a dining hall in the building.
