Laird Hall

Laird Hall is a co-ed residence that provides accommodation for undergraduate, graduate, and Farm Management Technology students. Residents enjoy comfortable rooms, modern kitchens, cozy TV lounges on each floor, a pool table and foosball table, and comfortable study lounges. As of Fall 2014, each residence room in Laird Hall will be equipped with a mini-fridge.

Laird Hall is the ideal residence for your first time away from home. You get to know people on campus, you are close to classrooms and it is easier to get involved in the flourishing MAC life. The residence living staff includes the Residence Monitor, the Assistant-Monitor, Floor Monitor and Floor Fellow to ensure that your stay in residence goes smoothly and is enjoyable.

Dormitory style housing with common shared washrooms, kitchens and lounges. Each floor of the three-story residence has separate sections for men and women while the common areas are co-ed.

251 residents in single and double bedrooms.
The lease is 8 months in length, beginning on move-in weekend and ending on April 30th, the last day of final exams.
Electricity, hot water and heating are included in the rent.
wifi
Internet is included in the rent. Telephone services are not provided.
furnishing
Furnished bedrooms (bedding and bathroom accessories not included). Bedrooms include mini fridges. The communal kitchen on each floor is equipped with toasters, microwaves, fridge, kitchen table and chairs.
meals
There is no Mandatory meal plan for students residing on Macdonald Campus. Students may purchase a Voluntary Saver meal plan or use the oneCard that can be used at Cafe T.W.I.G.S. on campus.
security
24hr Macdonald Campus Security Office located inside Laird Hall. Locked main entrance (controlled by card access).
extras
On-site card-operated laundry facilities. Bicycle storage available.
