Accommodations, conferences, meetings & events being paid by McGill

The University has negotiated special rates both in downtown Montreal and in the West Island at various hotels and long term stay properties ranging from 3* to 5*.

These accommodations and conference services must be processed through MMP

The following conditions apply for room nights:

  1. Process through MMP only - other properties that are not within the MOHP will not be available through MMP (make sure to enter Quebec Lodging Tax 3.5% as a line item in your requisition)
  2. Pricing for standard room - for other room types contact hotel directly

  3. Last Room availability applies to ensure hotel offers us all possible available rooms

  4. Free cancellation up to noon 24 hours prior to arrival date

  5. Guaranteed lowest available rate at the time of booking - if you find a lower price at the particular hotel please contact the hotel directly to match the price you found

  6. Free WiFi in the rooms

  7. MOHP price available for up to 10 rooms per night for group bookings - over 10 rooms per night contact the hotel directly

The following conditions apply for conferences, meeting rooms and events:

  1. Process through MMP only
  2. MOHP price available for up to 10 rooms per night for group bookings - over 10 rooms per night contact the hotel directly
  3. Discounts have been negotiated for conference space - please contact the hotel directly with your needs (see list of participating properties for the contact name for conferences)

How to book

  1. use the McGill landing page of the hotel to check availability and pricing for the dates  - you cannot book on the landing page. Pricing also available here (sign-in required).

  2. by email to the dedicated email for reservations using booking code- see list of participating properties for the email address

  3. by phone - using booking code mention McGill - see list of participating properties for the reservations telephone number
  4. process the requisition immediately in MMP
  5. for conferences, meetings and events - contact the property directly
