Every Fall, Les journées de la culture offers three days of free cultural activities across Quebec. As part of this year’s extensive calendar of events, the McGill Visual Arts Collection and the McCord Museum will hold joint, guided tours of their collections, titled Words and Symbols: Indigenous Presence and Resilience. Join us as we walk through both collections, highlighting artifacts, texts, and artworks that help illustrate the complex history of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
