Arts East-West (Korean Film Festival Canada) (Montreal, QC)
Arts East-West, a Montreal-based international non-profit organization established in 1996 (formerly Ciné-Asie), is dedicated to fostering cross-cultural connections. Emphasizing Asian empowerment and diasporic arts through cinema, new media, and visual arts, our pioneering projects encompass exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and publications, creating platforms for Asian artistic expression.
The intern will gain valuable experience in all aspects of the management of running an NFP focusing on arts-based programming and dedicated to the principles of EDI. A core opportunity of this internship is the chance to work with the 11th Korean Film Festival Canada and to assist in planning for the 2025 edition.
AIM - Arts in the Margins (Montreal, QC)
Arts in the Margins (AIM) is a Montreal-based registered Non-for-Profit dedicated to helping build healthy, self-sustaining communities via the creative arts. Our activities range from the implementation of free classes and workshops in the arts (including new media and digital arts), through the curation of performances and offering guidance and support to third-parties in the development of their own arts-based projects. Guided by a deep commitment to social justice, we therefore focus on working with historically marginalized communities and BIPOC artists and organizations.

Canadian Federation of Friends of Museums (Montreal, QC)
Canadian Federation of Friends of Museums (CFFM) is a national organization that represents the thousands of volunteers who generously commit their time and their expertise to support museums and heritage sites across Canada. CFFM is dedicated to the promotion and support of the volunteer component in their museums. They also work at educating the public about the value of museums and of preserving Canadian heritage.

EXPOSURES Montreal Trans Film Festival (Montreal, QC)
EXPOSURES is Montreal’s pioneering trans film festival and intends to be Canada’s first multi-year trans film festival in over 20 years. Our inaugural edition, set to take place in September 2024, will celebrate the rich tapestry of both new and older trans cinema, featuring events that pay tribute to the legacy of Quebecois trans cinema as well as screenings that champion a new generation of trans voices globally. Our festival will also pay specific attention to the cinema of Indigenous and/or trans artists of colour whose work often gets erased or tokenised by film festivals.
EXPOSURES is organised by trans people for trans people, and aims to reclaim the cinematic spotlight for trans, queer, and gender-diverse narratives in Canada.

Festival Accès Asie is a Montréal-based arts festival that promotes Asian arts, cultures and histories through a diversity of artistic disciplines including the visual arts, dance, theatre, video, film, music, comedy, poetry, literature, performance, new media and culinary arts. Reflective of Montreal's cultural climate, Festival Access Asie features artists with origins spanning over twenty countries: East Asia (Japan, China, Korea); Southeast Asia (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore); South Asia (Pakistan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka); Central & Middle Eastern Asia (Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan and Armenia).
Kabir Center for Arts & Culture (Montreal, QC)
Kabir Centre is a professional multi-disciplinary arts organization based in Montreal, contributing to the vibrant pluralistic arts scene of Montreal, Quebec and Canada through its dedication to South Asian Classical arts, especially to its diverse music and dance forms. Poetry Matters is an initiative based in the Department of English at McGill University in Montréal, Québec. Inspired by figures from the history of McGill—such as Canadian poets Louis Dudek, Leonard Cohen, Barbara Althea Jones, and Patrick Anderson—we seek to build from existing resources at McGill toward developing an enhanced culture for poetry.

The Bentway (Toronto, ON)
The Bentway works to ignite the urban imagination, using the city as site, subject, and canvas. Anchored under Toronto’s Gardiner Expressway and guiding its complex future, The Bentway is a not-for-profit powered by vital partnerships with the City of Toronto, artists, neighbours, supporters, and other city-builders who believe in the possibilities of public space. Each summer, The Benway puts on a season of public art and events at their spaces in downtown Toronto.
Regent Park Film Festival (Toronto, ON)
Created in 2003, Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF) is Toronto’s longest running free film festival and is the sole community film festival in Canada’s largest and oldest public housing neighbourhood. RPFF is dedicated to showcasing local and international independent works relevant to the key communities we serve: Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities, people who are low-income, people who live in public housing, and Regent Park residents.
