From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

National Collaborating Institutions

The Land Use Division operates under Grenada's Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Forestry, Fisheries, Public Utilities, and Energy. The ministry is responsible for the oversight of NAWASA (the National Water and Sewerage Authority)and has a significant role in water management, especially tasks such as the promotion of irrigation, water conservation, and rainwater harvesting practices.

The Hydrometeorological Service operates under Guyana's Ministry of Agriculture. The department’s overall responsibility is to monitor and evaluate the weather and water resources in Guyana and to actively support the government in disaster risk management and aeronautical, water, agriculture, engineering and other agencies for the socio-economic development of the country. It is the official provider of weather, water and climate information and related products and services for Guyana.

The Water Resources Authority (WRA) of Jamaica operates within the Ministry of Water and Housing. The institution is responsible for the management, protection, and controlled allocation and use of Jamaica's water resources while maintaining a hydrological database and providing data, information, and technical assistance to government and non-government institutions.
