From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

MAPAQ: "Programme Innovation bioalimentaire 2023-2028"

The MAPAQ launches the "Innovation bioalimentaire 2023-2028" aid program to strangthen innovation in Quebec's biofood sector.

The general objective of the "Innovation bioalimentaire 2023-2028" program is to strengthen innovation in the Quebec biofood sector.

More specifically, the program pursues the following objectives:

  • Increase the performance of the research and innovation environment in Quebec's biofood sector by strengthening centers of expertise in terms of research capacity and intensity.
  • Develop new knowledge to meet the need for innovation in Quebec’s biofood sector.
  • Increase the integration, by Quebec biofood companies, of research results by supporting their transfer and dissemination.

The program includes 5 components, namely: financial support for research, transfer and dissemination organizations; applied research, experimental development, and technological adaptation; business innovation in the commercial fisheries and aquaculture sector; financial support for innovation partnership initiatives; and finally support for knowledge transfer and dissemination​.
