Description of Planned Activities

This is a project backed up by a body of evidence around the use of e-health technologies in rural areas and the need for greater numbers of English-speaking health professionals. There is also a need to strengthen palliative care in the regions of Quebec and the project seeks, through its activities, to address this. The work of the project is aimed at nurses already working in the regions, although some nursing students at McGill are also involved in the professional development activities. There is a research and evaluation component to the project.

Budget Allocation
$40,000 for 2006-2007
