The service access objectives are: 1) to increase the human resources available to help guide English-speaking people through the network, particularly with regard to reception, clarifying their needs, defining the most appropriate response, and referring them to an appropriate department and 2) to improve communications and responses to various needs during a clinical intervention. With regard to developing staff skills, the goals are to make staff able to 1) understand requests for help from the English-speaking clientele and 2) respond to the requests made.
In Fall 2010, the Agency identified the training needs of the institutions that make up the Capitale-Nationale region's health and social services network for 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.
