The Eastern documents the life of Toshihiko Izutsu, former McGill professor, eminent Japanese philosopher, linguist, religious scholar, Judaism expert, Islam expert, and Sufism expert. Written and directed by Masoud Taheri.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with McGill professors Robert Wisnovsky and Armando Salvatore.
