Alternating Redpath and McLennan building shutdowns for maintenance September 13 through 15

Please note that due to generator shutdowns beyond our control, the Redpath Library Building will be closed overnight on Friday night (September 13) and the McLennan Library Building will be closed overnight on Saturday night (September 14). There will be additional signage and security on-site to help inform users and enforce the closures.

Redpath Library Building shutdown: The Redpath Library Building will be closed from 9:00pm on Friday September 13 until 8:00am the morning of Saturday September 14. During this period, users will be allowed to study throughout McLennan 1st through 6th floors. Access to the Redpath basement collections will cease at 8:00pm on Friday September 13.

McLennan Library Building shutdown: For the McLennan shutdown, the reverse will happen. The McLennan Library Building will be closed from 9:00pm on Saturday September 14 through 8:00am the morning of Sunday, September 15. Students will have access to the entirety of the Redpath Library Building. Emergency lighting will provide enough light for students to safely enter McLennan lobby on their way to Redpath.
