What's open & closed at McGill Libraries July 16 – 21
As outlined in the most recent update by the McGill University Emergency Operations Centre, please be advised that beginning Tuesday, July 16 to Sunday, July 21, the following library locations will be open to users following the regular opening and service hours:
- Birks Reading Room
- Education Curriculum Resources Centre
- Marvin Duchow Music Library
- Nahum Gelber Law Library
- Osler Library of the History of Medicine
- Macdonald Campus Library
Users wishing to study, consult the collection, access computers and WiFi can do so in any of the above library locations during opening and service hours.
The following libraries will be closed to users for the remainder of the week:
- McLennan-Redpath Library Complex
- Islamic Studies Library
- Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering
Book Pick-Up Information
Beginning Tuesday, July 16, the delivery of items from the McGill University Collections Centre will resume, and users will be directed to open library locations to retrieve their requests. For items requested for pick-up at the McLennan Reserves Room, users will be directed to the Marvin Duchow Music Library to retrieve their items. For items currently on hold shelves in the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex, Schulich, and Islamic Studies Libraries, users will be contacted and asked to select an alternate pick-up location.
Please note that late fines during the temporary closure period will be waived.
