From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. What's open & closed at McGill Libraries on Thursday, July 11

As outlined in the update provided by the McGill University Emergency Operations Centre the afternoon of Wednesday, July 10, please be advised that the following library locations will be closed on Thursday, July 11:

  • McLennan-Redpath Library Complex
  • Islamic Studies Library
  • Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering

Additionally:

  • The Birks Reading Room will be closed
  • The Education Curriculum Resources Centre Collection will be available without services

The following library locations will be open on Thursday, July 11 during their regular opening hours:

  • Marvin Duchow Music Library
  • Nahum Gelber Law Library
  • Osler Library of the History of Medicine
  • Macdonald Campus Library

Please refer to our locations page for more information on each library and a location map.

The Libraries’ virtual reference service will be operating its regular hours from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
