Canadian Parliamentary Journals

The Journals provide a complete and concise record of parliamentary proceedings. They differ from the Debates in that they record what was done in each House, as opposed to what was said.

Aside from recording the votes and proceedings of Parliament, the Journals sometimes include various documents and reports as appendices. Perhaps the most useful feature of the Journals is the index, which gives a detailed outline of the progress of each bill introduced during the session and an indication of all the papers submitted to the House of Commons or Senate.
