This measure assesses the exposure to 21 traumatic events, proceeding from general (natural disasters and car accidents) to highly personal (death of a loved one and sexual abuse).

 

Several versions exist:

  • Life Events – Adult: 18 years old and older
  • Life Events – Children: self- or proxy-administered, 25-item questionnaire. For children and adolescents, aged 9-17 years old

 

It is available in computerized or noncomputerized formats (paper-and pencil).
