Clara Lichtenstein Hall (C-209)

Clara Lichtenstein Hall (C-209) is located in McGill’s Strathcona Music Building.

Accessible entrance (via Strathcona Music Building)
There is a wheelchair entrance with ramp 30 metres east of the steps leading up to the main entrance of the Strathcona Music Building on Sherbrooke (The wheelchair entrance is located towards the back of the parking area, which is between the Strathcona and Wirth buildings). After entering the wheelchair entrance, take the elevator in that hallway to the second floor. When exiting on the second floor of the Strathcona Music Building, Clara Lichtenstein Hall will be visible to your left.

Note: As the Strathcona elevator is rather narrow, another option for those operating larger electric wheelchairs is to enter via the Wirth Music Building – see below.

Accessible entrance (via Elizabeth Wirth Music Building)
Wheelchair access is via the door at the main entrance door of the Elizabeth Wirth Music Building (on the corner of Sherbrooke and Alymer). Once inside, take the ramp to your left and enter the elevators. Exit on the second floor and go to the right, crossing the bridge into the Strathcona Music Building (the doors can be motion-activated). Once inside, enter hallway next to the Kenneth Woodman Scholarship Fund wall-sized mural. Clara Lichtenstein Hall will be to your left.


Pollack Hall

Pollack Hall is located in McGill's Strathcona Music Building.

Accessible entrance (via Strathcona Music Building)
There is a wheelchair entrance with ramp 30 metres east of the steps leading up to the main entrance of the Strathcona Music Building on Sherbrooke (The wheelchair entrance is located towards the back of the parking area, which is between the Strathcona and Wirth buildings). After entering the wheelchair entrance, take the elevator in that hallway to the second floor. When exiting on the second floor of the Strathcona Music Building, the large double-door entrance to Pollack Hall will be visible down the corridor to your right.

Note: As the Strathcona elevator is rather narrow, another option for those operating larger electric wheelchairs is to enter via the Wirth Music Building – see below.

Wheelchair access is via the door at the main entrance door of the Elizabeth Wirth Music Building (corner of Sherbooke and Alymer). Once inside, take the ramp to your left and enter the elevators. Exit on the second floor and go to the right, crossing the bridge into the Strathcona Music Building (the doors can be motion-activated). Once inside, enter hallway next to the Kenneth Woodman Scholarship Fund wall-sized mural. Follow the hall into the lobby of the Strathcona Music Building, and to the large double-door entrance to Pollack Hall.


Tanna Schulich Hall

Tanna Schulich Hall is located in close proximity to the main entrance of McGill's Elizabeth Wirth Music Building (pictured, top  right).

Accessible entrance (via Elizabeth Wirth Music Building)
Wheelchair access is via the door at the main entrance of the Elizabeth Wirth Music Building (corner of Sherbrooke and Alymer). Tanna Schulich Hall is located directly across from the main entrance.

Accessible entrance (via Strathcona Music Building)
There is a wheelchair entrance with ramp 30 metres east of the steps leading up to the main entrance of the Strathcona Music Building on Sherbrooke (The wheelchair entrance is located towards the back of the parking area, which is between the Strathcona and Wirth buildings). After entering the wheelchair entrance, take the elevator in that hallway to the second floor. When exiting on the second floor of the Strathcona Music Building, turn left down the hallway and go through the black doors across the foyer and across the bridge to the Elizabeth Wirth Music Building. After exiting the bridge, Tanna Schulich Hall will be immediately on your left.


Redpath Hall

Redpath Hall is located in McGill’s downtown campus near McTavish St.

Accessibility at Redpath
The main entrance to Redpath Hall has several stairs and no direct wheelchair access. There is no accessible washroom near the hall.

One hour before all concerts, a security guard is present at McGill's Service Point (McTavish/Sherbrooke) to escort guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility through the library and into Redpath Hall. At the end of the concert, the security guard will escort you back through the building to Service Point, where you can exit on McTavish Street.

Additionally, guests wishing to drive to Redpath Hall to facilitate access can do so by entering the downtown campus through the Milton Gates. Further information on access through this route is outlined on the McGill Transport Services website.

Accessible washrooms can be found in the following locations:

Strathcona Music Building
C-115 (located near the Royal Victoria College cafeteria)
C-118 & C-119 (located within the Pollack Hall Artist entrance)
C-511 & C-519
E-328 & E-329 (Located within the 3rd floor practice room wing, not accessible to the public)

Elizabeth Wirth Music Building
All washrooms on all floors have a specific accessible washroom (with the exception of the first floor, which has no washrooms).

Gender-neutral Washrooms
C-115 (located near the Royal Victoria College cafeteria)
E-328 & E-329 (Located within the 3rd floor practice room wing, not accessible to the public)


Library

The Marvin Duchow Music Library is located on three floors of McGill’s Elizabeth Wirth Music Building, with the entry on the 3rd floor.

Accessible entrance

Wheelchair access is via the door at the main entrance of the Elizabeth Wirth Music Building (pictured on the right). Once inside, to your left, take the ramp to the elevators. Exit on the third floor.
