About our ensembles

Ensembles are a vital component of the student experience at the Schulich School of Music. Each year, the School presents 700+ performances, including concerts by faculty, guest artists, students, and several exciting series featuring our large and small ensembles. The School offers a wide array of outstanding performance venues: from historic Pollack and Redpath Halls to modern Tanna Schulich Hall, the state-of-the-art Multimedia Room, and the recently renovated Clara Lichtenstein Hall, our facilities provide an ideal setting for music-making at the highest level.

The School’s offerings are comprehensive and range from Early Music to Jazz: the repertoire covered by our ensembles spans across masterworks of the symphonic literature to the intimacy of chamber music and includes some of the most exciting new music composed in our times.
